A beautiful restaurant in Lagoa, with fantastic, friendly and attentive service and, above all, marvellous food... the dessert called semifrio de laranja is... divine!!!

Excellent! My girlfriend and I are a young couple and we were visiting Portugal for our 1-year anniversary. For our actual anniversary date, we had dinner here and I'm so glad we did. The staff were very helpful and made the evening 10 times better. Believe me when I say that nothing was too much trouble for them, like organising flowers for us. The food was also excellent with sophisticated but satisfying portions and a great place for a romantic evening.

Friends brought us here a few weeks ago. We were keen to go back. This is not your typical local restaurant, but one that strives to bring high-quality local produce combined in dishes full of delicious flavours. Excellent wine choices, excellent service that hits the mark. First rate.

Excellent restaurant without being pretentious, informal atmosphere. The delicacies are prepared using regional products. Original cuisine, a fantastic experience of flavours. We loved it and have already been back.

Excellent atmosphere, service and food. We took a chance on a place we'd never been to before, having spent many years here in the south of Portugal. The reviews looked good and we were very pleased to have exceptional service from start to finish. My daughter is a chef and was very impressed with the flavors and presentation of all the food (starter, main course, dessert). My son-in-law expressed how 'phenomenal' he thought the service was, and we all agreed that it helps a lot when the waiters are competent and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone for a romantic dinner, a casual dining experience or a party table. I'll definitely be back.

We were recommended to the restaurant by our hotel in Carvoeiro - and it lived up to the recommendation. The food is awesome, the decor good and the service first rate. A pity we were not staying longer as it would have been a candidate for a re-visit. Well worth going to even if staying a little way away.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to in my life! The atmosphere is sober, they have an excellent Portuguese wine list, and the waiters offer warm service.

Our experience at Gaspacho & Migas was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Service was consistently above and beyond with a friendly and attentive team tending to anything we needed for a perfect dinner. Every dish was exactly as ordered and without question the octopus was the best we’ve ever had. Bravo and Obrigado!

I’m from NY, so a bi on the food front. This said, I’m not sure I can recall a better meal than the one at this supreme establishment. Everything we ate was 5 star quality, from beginning to end. Don’t miss this gem!!!
